Apple to release the sequel of iPhone 5s with internal hardware upgrade

Apple reportedly will release the sequel of iPhone 5s with internal hardware upgrade. This device is essentially an “iPhone 5s Mark II”, with a 4-inch display, the same design and appearance as iPhone 5s. For the internal hardware, the device will adopt Apple A8 chip, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.1 and the FaceTime HD camera is changed to a higher quality f/2.2 aperture, similar to the one used in the sixth-generation iPod touch, according to Macotakara. According to a report, this device will be ready to be produced and shipped any time from now.
Different with Macotakara, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that this iPhone 5s’s sequel will have an A9 processor not A8. This step is similar to what Apple has done in the iPod Touch previous version sequel with the internal hardware upgrade. This way, the company can reduce the production cost, because it uses the same manufacturing process for several things.
This year, Apple has released the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, which have a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display size, respectively. If the rumor is true, Apple can boost the iPhone sales, and can meet the users demand of 4-inch iPhone.
